Due to inclement weather in 2018 the minimum number of races needed for a CRA year end award has been dropped from 10 to 9, read on . . .
The CRA promoters held a meeting on Nov 21 and part of the discussion was the number of weather – related events that were cancelled during the 2018 season and were not able to reschedule. While no organization likes to cancel any event, it is at times a necessity.
With that said, the promoters opted to drop the minimum events needed for a year end award to 9. So, for any of you riders on that 7 or 8 rides in for the season, you now have 2 opportunities to get to that magic number of 9. Lightning has a race on Sunday Nov 25th, his annual sweatshirt race and Mansfield has their annual Toy Run on Sunday December 2nd. Bring a new unwrapped toy donation for the Salvation Army so they can help give a child in need a present for the holiday.
