How does the year end points work? How are they calculated and how many awards are given out. So here is some basic information.
A rider needs to participate in a minimum of 10 events (in the same class)to be considered for a year end award. If you DO NOT have your 10 events in yet, time is running out – get to the track this weekend! A riders BEST 15 finishes count for the year end award.
The awards are given out at year end based on the number of riders in the class, those who qualify for an award (minimum 10 event). There is no set number. Each class is looked at individually when the decision is made.
