The CRA has made some changes for the 2021 season, Most notably some classes added to both the MX and the HS line up
For MX, there have been several classes added to the mini cycle list. A 50cc shaft class, a split for the 65cc class for a Jr ages 7-9, Sr. ages 10-11 and an Open 65cc class ages 7-11. We brought back the money class for both bikes and quads with a minimum 100% payback.
Art at Pymatuning will once again have a Battle of the Border event and Big Game will host an additional 2 MX events this season. Lightning has been asked to do additional events at the Harrison County Fairgrounds. On Tuesday June 22 there will be a Quad and side by side event – – check the schedule for special events this season.
In the HS listing, we have changed the Masters Bike class age from 56 to 60 years old. We have added a Trail Class to both the Big Bike and Big Quad class line ups. This class is for someone possibly trying a race for the first time. There will be NO CRA points or end of the day awards for these two classes.
Also for HS we have established a starting line up for the big bike and big quad classes. So for the rider choosing a class by starting line up, it is now in print and can be found on page 11 of the CRA racing Guide.
Also new this year is the come back of a team race. Salem MC Club will host the event at Big Valley in East Palestine, OH for big bikes and big quads only. Sorry – no mini’s. Look for starting times and added class in the near future.
Thank you again to Fly Racing/WPS who is once again on board with the CRA to promote the 5 round sCRAm-x series. A little MX – a little HS and who knows what is in between – just pure fun!
The CRA wishes each of you a safe and winning 2021 race season!
